
Senior Interior Designer

· Attend initial client Development meetings and help establish project direction and brand. Note general information required to establish type, expectations, and scope of work for interior finishes and furnishings for the intended project.
· Develop, write, and coordinate Interior Design specifications and finishes based upon approved project direction.
· Make finish and material selections for Interior Design projects.
· Issue Project Interior specifications and revisions to proper project personnel.
· Coordinate with Purchasing Agent to assure timely purchases, shipment, and installation of Project specifications. Coordinate with Purchasing Agents to reselect items that may not be available as specified.
· Approve all finish samples and fabric cutting samples received through the construction process.
· Directly supervise the onsite installation of the FF&E by coordinating with the contractor and project team.
· Participate in the punch list as directed by the project schedule.
· Work with in-house 3D Artists, Architects, and Construction Experts to create dynamic and creative projects in the hospitality and entertainment industry.
· Must have a working knowledge of CAD programs.
· Must be adept at multi-tasking, have exceptional organizational skills and a highly developed sense of design.
· Must excel in MS Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Must have knowledge of code/regulatory compliances related to Interior Design.
· Must have a strong background and knowledge in the writing and reviewing of design specifications.
· Must have a high level of current Design and Fashion trends.
· Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Commercial Interior Design, preferably with experience in Casino and Hospitality Design.
· Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, vendors and employees within and outside the company.
· NCIDQ certification preferred.
Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited University required.
· NCIDQ Certification or Interior Design License a plus.
