Kent Caputo, Chief Strategy Officer for Marnell Companies. Kent is responsible for identification, assessment, and coordination of new initiatives and opportunities across Marnell Companies’ capabilities. He manages projects, process oversight as well as internal and external interdisciplinary teams for the benefit of clients.
Kent is an executive and attorney with over 30 years of public and private sector experience emphasizing work for, with, and supporting tribal governments and enterprises. His career presents a depth of understanding across industry and government, addressing a wide variety of commercial, legal, regulatory, policy, and political matters.
As a former Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer with different Native American tribes, Kent has overseen both enterprise and government operations with thousands of employees. As Chief Commercial Officer and General Counsel for a multi-faceted international development corporation, Kent’s business, financial, project development and operational oversight is wide-ranging.
His law firm and public sector experience includes work with Patton Boggs and Miller Nash as well as legal counsel to the Governor of Washington State. These present an extensive array of experience with an advocacy for highly regulated and politically sensitive entities and issues.
Accreditation
Kent graduated as an honors scholar from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Economics as well as a Juris Doctorate, cum laude. He earned a Master of Laws from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
