As Director of Risk Management for the Marnell Companies, Mr. Hersh has overall responsibility for Insurance and Risk Management. Within his duties over the past 10 years he has developed a sophisticated combination of insurance, self-insured, self funded programs and cost allocations within the group.
As President of Forte Consulting, LLC., Mr. Hersh deals directly with the insurance for some 200 entities. The Agency is small and highly technical in nature and has for a primary role the solution of very hard to solve insurance problems.
Mr. Hersh has worked in the Risk Management and Insurance industry for over 35 years.
Accreditation
Mr. Hersh attended Oregon State University and the University of Washington, with some graduate work at the U of W. He has a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering. He is a professional engineer (P.E.). He has a CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter) designation. He has a CRIS (Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist) designation. He has taught many insurance courses (IIA, AIA & CPCU) and is involved in many charities (American Cancer Society, CF & Serendipity School).
